Hey Everyone! Man it's been a busy week. My sister and your husband gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on Tuesday. It's their first child so congratulations to the both of them!

I decided that I am going to surprise them tomorrow with this. It's been awhile since I have done a traditional painting and it took a little getting used to. It's more challenging then I remember, but was fun :) This was done in gouache and took me a few hours.

So I've never really did caricatures before, but I'm really happy with how this one turned out. I've been trying some new techniques. This piece took me about 4 to 5 hrs to do. I've wanted to do this caricature for some time now but things always came up.

So, as some of you already know, this is of my favourite actress. She plays a C.I.A agent named Sarah Walker on the hit NBC show Chuck. She will also be in a new movie called the Killer Elite.

I can't believe I am finally done at Sheridan. What an amazing and unforgettable experience the last 5 years have been. I have made so many friends and I have meet so many talented people there. Wow what a ride.
This is a snapshot of my film. From concept art straight through to finished composite, i have learned so much. There were a lot of up and downs, but I am happy with the result. So much sweat and tears. Special thanks go out to my Mommy and Daddy for their love and support and to my Boyfriend David, who stood by me through those all nighters to help me and never once complained. You are so awesome hunny and I love you deary! Well this is it! Good-bye Sheridan and thank you faculty for being awesome.

Hey Everyone

Well It's almost the end of the year, and I can't believe I will have gone through 5 years of College. There's is still lots to do in the next few days that I have left, but I though that I would share what my business cards are going to look like. This is the final design for the cards. The character on the front is from my film that I am currently finishing up. He is in 3D and the rest of the film is all traditional.

I can't believe that I'm finished 7/8 of my years at Sheridan. One more semester to go and then I'm done school O.O Where did the time go. Well as a special treat here is the final version of my leica. The sound needs some more work, and the music is still a scratch track for now. There is music going to be written later. There is also a rough animated scene in this, I apologize for the darkest of it, but that's now it is for the moment. Now it's time to take a well deserved break and time to work on some other stuff.

Hey Everyone. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, school has been super busy. Well I'm on Version 3 of my leica reel for my 4th year film. I am very excited to show you all this. There are few more changes I will be making, but it's almost done :D So a few things you may want to know. The robot character in my film will be done in 3D. I have him 60% modeled already and I hope to have him done very soon. I'm very excited to be working on this, it's an amazing feeling creating something that is totally and 100% your own. Also, this is scratch track, so this will not be the final music for my film. Well got to blast and hope you enjoy the film. :)

Missing You

Well this will be one of my saddest blog posts ever. One year ago today I lost the greatest friend I could have ever asked for. Her name was Blondie. I miss seeing her whenever I come home, especially when I've had bad days. I just had to look at her and suddenly the world just went away.

I still remember the first day we went to get her. I was 10 years old and my mom had come home from work early and told my sister and I that we were going somewhere and she won't say where. It was about halfway to the humane society that I guessed it. We were getting a dog :D. She was the most adorable thing I saw. Her tail had been broken and healed in a crooked position, but it didn't bother her at all. When we took her to the vet they said they could fix it, but that would involve breaking it again. We of course said No! That was one of the many things that made her unique! When she wagged her tail it would wag in a circle, rather than back and forth. It was always very cute.

This picture was taking by me in my room. It is one of my favourites. Her bed is still next to mine. To this day I miss her and I know I always will. And so will everyone who ever met her. She will forever be in my heart. Love you Blondie.

Hey Everyone, man it has been awhile since my last post. I've just been really busy with my co-op, but just another 5 more weeks and I'll been done :) Well here is some more things from my Co-op that have been released for their game Levynlight on facebook so I wanted to share with you! Everything that I've been doing there has been drawn on my Wacom and colored in Photoshop. I've mainly been working on character designs and equipment pieces. The Medals are for achievements you get in the game.

Next posting will have the newer pieces when it gets released and I have to say it is by far my favorite stuff that I've been able to work on ;)

Well it's been a long time since I've posted anything. I've been really busy with my Co-op. I'm working for a company called HitGrab and they do facebook games. The game I'm working on is called Levynlight and it's a lot of fun. I'm learning a lot :) I know some of the artwork I've done has been released. I'll be able to post some things up so look in the coming weeks for some. For now I will leave you with this :)

Hey everyone, so here is a piece I was having fun with. I don't know what it is with me and bunny's, but I find them so adorable. So i thought it would be cool to do a line of bad @$$ looking ones and since I'm a proud Canadian, they are Canadian too.

I've been watching the Olympics lately and I'm so proud of how the athletes are doing. I really like the snowboarding events, cause well I'm a snowboarder too. We won our first gold medal yesterday in the men's moguls and man it was so awesome to see that. :)

3D Walk

Hey everyone, well first week back in school and it's portfolio time! Yay! Have pretty much all of my portfolio stuff up, just putting in the final touches to the demo reel and I should be good. Here is one of the pieces going it my demo reel. It's my 3d walk cycle and I did this using maya 2010. It was a lot of fun once I got the hang of it. :) I'm hoping to maybe do a run cycle, but I'm not sure if there will be time for that as I have my group film to concentrate on.

Hey guys and gals, man that was a crazy two weeks of school. I'm kind of sad that it's over.

Well as promised here is my action analysis assignment. It's FINALLY DONE!!!!! A lot of sweat, tears, and a lot of late nights went into this short. So hope you all enjoy.

I have the storyboard leica of the whole scene, but I'll be posting that up later as I need to tweak some of the storyboards. The whole thing is about 30 seconds long. Hope to get that up this week sometime. Well back to the drawing board.

Hey everyone. This week is going to be the end of me, with production things due for our film and an essay due. Aaaahhhh! Ok I'm good now hahaha. I'm so happy reading week is next week.

So here is a beat board I drew and colored for my group film. The title of the film for now is called Lunar Vault. It is about a guy who wants to pole vault to the moon! The story isn't final as of yet, but I feel we are getting closer to a story at we well be very happy with. Well that's about it for now.

Hey Everyone! Well I'm back in school and I have to tell ya it feels good. There's going to be a lot of really amazing things to learn this year and I am so stoked. This is my first 3d animation I've done so far this year and it's defiantly different from what I'm used too. It's nothing fancy, but it's still cool in my books.

I'm so learning stop motion which is so AWESOME!!! I'm going to see if I can put it into a movie file so you all can see what my good friend Anthony and I did.
